Amazon PPC Glossary

Sponsored Brands (SB) are the banner ads at the top of Amazon search results showing your logo, a custom headline, and several products (or a video). They require Brand Registry.

SB excels at two jobs: defending your brand (owning the top slot when shoppers search your brand name) and introducing your catalog on category terms. Clicks can route to a product page or your Brand Store.

Reporting is coarser than Sponsored Products — Amazon's reporting API exposes campaign-level daily metrics but not keyword-level daily history — so SB optimization leans on campaign-level ACOS and budget control more than per-keyword bid surgery.
